Survey chief highlights Youth City 2030 achievements
The President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), Eng. Bassem bin Yacoub Al Hamer, praised Youth City 2030 as a leading national initiative focused on developing young Bahraini talents and preparing them for future opportunities.
During a visit to the annual programme, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in partnership with strategic partner Tamkeen, Al Hamer toured various training centres and programmes designed to enhance youth skills and strengthen their readiness for the labour market.
Accompanied by the Ministry of Youth Affairs Undersecretary Marwan Fouad Kamal, Al Hamer reviewed the initiatives offered at the city, highlighting their role in building participants' knowledge, innovation and practical skills.
Al Hamer also visited the SLRB’s specialised programme, “Survey Engineering and Geospatial Data,” where he met participants and learned about the course content, which combines theoretical knowledge with practical training.
The programme introduces young participants to modern surveying technologies, geospatial data applications and artificial intelligence tools, reflecting global practices and real-world workplace requirements.
Al Hamer said investing in youth is essential to building a competitive and sustainable future. He praised Youth City 2030 for discovering national talents and providing them with specialised training opportunities.
