NMS GIRLS EMERGE CHAMPIONS AT ICC CRIIIO CRICKET TOURNAMENT

The NMS girls' cricket team brought laurels to the school by emerging as the champions of the ICC Criiio Cricket Tournament for Girls, organized by the Bahrain Cricket Federation (BCF), at KHK Academy, Salmabad.

Demonstrating remarkable teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, Team NMS secured a convincing victory in the semifinal against the Indian School Bahrain (ISB), earning a well-deserved place in the final. In an exciting championship match, the team defeated Bahrain Indian School (BIS) to lift the tournament trophy.

The outstanding performance of the players reflects their dedication, discipline, and the excellent guidance provided by their coaches. The achievement is a proud milestone for the school and serves as an inspiration to aspiring young athletes.

Congratulating the players, coaches, and parents for this wonderful achievement, Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma said that this remarkable victory is a testament to the students' hard work, perseverance, and team spirit. He further added that the school is  immensely proud of its girls for bringing home the championship and for representing the school with excellence and integrity.
