Muharraq Governor Praises Successful Organisation of Ashoora Commemoration

Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, Governor of Muharraq Governorate, praised the successful organisation of this year's Ashoora commemoration and expressed gratitude for the leadership's support in ensuring the event was conducted smoothly and safely.

The Governor thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his directives to provide all necessary resources for the commemoration, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the government's continued support in facilitating its successful organisation.

He also commended General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, along with Ministry of Interior personnel, for their efforts in maintaining security and ensuring a safe environment for participants throughout the commemorations.

Al Mannai praised the cooperation of the relevant authorities, ministries, government institutions, maatams (community centres), and community committees, noting that their coordinated efforts and commitment to the approved organisational procedures played a key role in the event's success.

He added that the spirit of cooperation and solidarity displayed during the Ashoora commemoration reflected Bahrain's national unity and the civilised values for which Muharraq Governorate and the Kingdom are widely recognised.
