Northern Governor Praises Successful Ashoora Commemoration

Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, Governor of the Northern Governorate, commended the successful organisation of the 1448 AH Ashoora commemoration, highlighting Bahrain's commitment to preserving religious traditions while promoting coexistence, tolerance, and religious freedom.

The Governor expressed his appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his continued support of religious observances and for fostering an environment that upholds the Kingdom's values of unity and mutual respect.

He also thanked His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the government's support in ensuring the smooth and successful organisation of the commemoration.

Al Madani praised General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, for implementing directives that helped ensure the Ashoora commemoration was held in a secure, organised, and stable atmosphere.

The Governor also commended the heads of maatams and their organisers for their close cooperation with the governorate and the relevant authorities throughout the commemorations. He further praised participants for adhering to the approved regulations and procedures, noting that their cooperation played a key role in the success of the event.
