Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of Humanitarian Voluntary Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, visited several homes benefiting from the “Reassured Homes” initiative to assess its impact on families in need.
The initiative, implemented by the “Sheyam Al Khair” volunteer team with support from the GFH Foundation, has furnished more than 20 homes for widows, orphans, and underprivileged families across Bahrain’s governorates. Over 50 volunteers participated, working in eight teams to complete the project.
During the visit, HH Shaikha Sheema highlighted that the initiative reflects a commitment to spreading generosity, strengthening community solidarity, and promoting volunteerism to improve living conditions for vulnerable families.
She praised the efforts of the volunteer team and the support provided by the GFH Foundation, noting their dedication and teamwork in ensuring the success of the project.
Beneficiary families expressed their gratitude, saying the initiative had a meaningful impact on their lives and brought them happiness and comfort.
The “Reassured Homes” initiative forms part of ongoing humanitarian programs by the “Sheyam Al Khair” team aimed at supporting families in need and reinforcing Bahrain’s values of social solidarity and charitable work.
