Al Hilal hosts Imam Hussain blood donation campaign
Al Hilal Healthcare Group hosted the 28th Imam Hussain Blood Donation Campaign at Al Hilal Manama Central for the third consecutive year, in partnership with Naim Charity Society and the Ministry of Health’s Central Blood Bank.
Held under the theme “Al Hussain Malath”, the twoday initiative highlighted the group’s commitment to social responsibility and promoting blood donation awareness and community service. Organised in coordination with the Ministry of Health, the campaign dedicated the 8th of Muharram to female donors and the 9th of Muharram to male donors.
Among those attending were Dr. Raja Al Nuaimi, Acting Chief of Medical Services; Dr. Fadhel Al Nasheet, Campaign Chairman; Ms. Zahra Salman Isa, Head of the Women’s Committee; and Dr. Nader Awad, alongside officials, volunteers and supporters.
Dr. Sharath Chandran, CEO of Al Hilal Healthcare Group, said the organisation was proud to support the campaign for the third consecutive year, while Mr. Asif Mohamed, Vice President – Business and Strategy, described it as a successful collaboration between community organisations, healthcare providers and government entities.
