First meeting held for resilience documentation panel
The Committee for Documenting the National Resilience Epic held its first meeting, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), who also heads the committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman and committee members expressed their deepest appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, for issuing Royal Order No. (20) of 2026 establishing the Committee for Documenting the National Resilience Epic. The committee has been tasked with recording and documenting what officials described as the hostile Iranian attacks faced by Bahrain.
Members affirmed their commitment to achieving the committee’s objectives by strengthening the national narrative and documenting all forms of resilience, defence, and institutional and societal cohesion under the leadership of His Majesty the King and in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Chairman stated that the contents of recent royal speeches and directives reflect deep national values and principles that reinforce loyalty, belonging, and social partnership, while also highlighting Bahrain’s commitment to peace and coexistence.
He noted that Bahrain’s leadership has played a key role in safeguarding national security and protecting the country from external threats, while maintaining adherence to international conventions, international law, and good neighbourly relations.
