Bolivia Army Base Blast Death Toll Rises to 6

La Paz: The death toll from two explosions at a military base in Viacha, southwest of La Paz, has risen to six, with rescuers recovering three more remains from the rubble, according to Bolivia's Defence Ministry.
On Friday, the Bolívar Mechanised Artillery Regiment experienced blasts at a facility storing confiscated pyrotechnics, grenades, and TNT-based explosives. Three of the victims were troops, while police were still seeking to identify the rest.
Rescue teams are still at the scene looking for people who may be trapped beneath collapsed structures. The existence of unexploded and potentially harmful material prevented operations, and authorities continue to impose safety limits near the military facility.
The massive blasts caused damage to houses nearby, shattered windows, and spread debris throughout the surrounding streets. The actual cause of the explosions is still under investigation.
