Youth leaders complete 11th YLP programme
Bahrain youth showcase leadership projects at YLP closing ceremony
The 11th Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) concluded with a ceremony attended by Youth Affairs Minister Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, highlighting Bahrain’s efforts to empower young people and develop future leaders.
Organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the programme provided participants with training and skills to support innovation, sustainable development and social impact.
UNDP Resident Representative in Bahrain Asmaa Shalabi said 27 participants were selected from more than 100 applicants for the six-week programme, which focused on leadership development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Challenge.
The ceremony featured projects created by participants and concluded with recognizing partners, supporters and graduates for their contributions to the initiative.
