Future Bahraini leaders got a first-hand look at the Kingdom’s evolving housing vision during a field visit to Salman City, where Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi met members of the 11th intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme.

The visit offered participants an inside view of Bahrain’s modern housing projects, urban planning strategies and public-private partnership initiatives aimed at accelerating housing delivery across the Kingdom.

She highlighted the importance of investing in Bahraini talent and equipping national cadres with specialised expertise to support the Kingdom’s long-term development goals under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The minister also showcased several successful public-private partnership models in the housing sector, including the Al Naseem district project, describing such collaborations as vital to speeding up housing services and supporting urban development plans.

She revealed that agreements are in place to build 137 new housing units in Salman City under the same partnership framework, reinforcing Bahrain’s push to expand modern housing solutions and meet growing demand.

The fellowship members were also briefed on the ministry’s responsibilities, project implementation methods and the key facilities and services being developed within Salman City.
