Health Minister Meets 11th Cohort of Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme

Manama: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, met with participants from the 11th cohort of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme, highlighting the programme’s role in developing national talent and strengthening government performance.

During the meeting, the Minister reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to empowering national cadres by providing opportunities that enhance skills and enable meaningful contributions to development goals. She praised the role of national competencies across government entities in driving innovation and institutional progress.

Dr. Jaleela discussed key priorities within the health sector, including major projects and initiatives, efforts to strengthen integration across the health system, and the delivery of healthcare and preventive services. She outlined future plans aimed at improving service quality and efficiency, addressing emerging challenges, and advancing comprehensive health coverage as a strategic objective.

As part of the programme’s activities, participants visited the Public Health Directorate, where they were briefed on its departments and initiatives focused on enhancing community health services.
