HRH the Crown Prince Praises Team Bahrain for Successful Asian Youth Games

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, praised Team Bahrain for their efforts in hosting the 3rd Asian Youth Games during a meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH the Crown Prince met with His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, along with members of the Supreme Organising Committee and Executive Committee.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman highlighted Bahrain’s growing reputation as a host for major regional and international events. He noted that the Kingdom’s strong infrastructure, skilled national workforce, and advanced organisational capabilities reflect the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Crown Prince commended the progress of Bahrain’s sports sector and praised the committees, volunteers, and organisers whose efforts ensured the Games’ success. He also congratulated Bahraini athletes who secured several medals.
HRH Prince Salman noted that the successful hosting of the Asian Youth Games should serve as a model for future large-scale events, encouraging continued cooperation between sports bodies and government entities.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and the committee members expressed their gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s support, saying it played a key role in achieving the event’s goals. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Bahrain’s position as a leading host of regional and international events.
The 3rd Asian Youth Games were recently held in Bahrain under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
