HRH Crown Prince Inaugurates Bahrain–US Joint Command Center

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed that Bahrain–US relations have reached advanced levels of cooperation, supported by strong strategic agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement. He stressed the importance of building on the progress achieved between the two countries, especially in military and defense cooperation, to create future opportunities and achieve shared goals.
Prince Salman made the remarks while inaugurating the new Joint Command Center at Ras Al Bar Camp, established through collaboration between the Bahrain Defence Force and the US Central Command.
The ceremony was attended by National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa; His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; and His Highness Major Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
They were received by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force; Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Bahraini Air Force; and General Charles Bradford Cooper, Commander of US Central Command. Finance and Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and US Chargé d’Affaires Elizabeth Litchfield also attended, along with senior officers from both forces.
During the visit, His Royal Highness received a briefing on the center’s mission and its role in strengthening regional security through Bahrain–US cooperation. He expressed his appreciation for the joint efforts that made the center possible, wishing the team success in supporting the security and stability of Bahrain and the wider region.
Prince Salman highlighted the mutual commitment of both countries to further develop their partnership and expand cooperation. He also acknowledged the important role played by the United States, alongside allied nations, in supporting regional and global security, which contributes to sustainable development.
