Shop Bahrain sparks the feel of shopping in malls

Shopping Malls across the Kingdom will host a wide range of activities as part of Shop Bahrain, the largest nationwide festival being held until January 23.

“This year we focus on providing in-mall activities in order to provide shoppers with a unique shopping experience suitable for the entire family to enjoy,” said Shop Bahrain Project Director Nawaf Al Koheji.

“We hope that the public enjoy the activities lined up while shopping at the malls and enjoying the festival’s benefits and promotions,” he added.

Among the activities is the ‘Reverse Bungee Jumping’ held inside Al A’ali Shopping Complex throughout the festival duration between 10am to 10pm in addition to the ‘Indoor Rock Climbing’ activity held at Bahrain Mall from January 8 to 15 during mall hours.  

Moda Mall is hosting an art exhibition of Bahraini artist Jamal Abdulrahim until January 6. 

The art exhibition will be accompanied by a special Oud recital held during the weekends from 5 pm to 7pm.   Some of the activities for children include an art class for children that will be held at Saar Mall on January 8 from 9am to 9pm providing a fun-filled creative activity for children. 

The popular Betty Balloon will be available at Seef Mall Muharraq between January 7 and 9, providing youngsters with a creative session focused on balloon making and storytelling. Enma Mall will host a children cinema event featuring the latest cartoons and Disney movies between January 7 and 9 and January 14 and 16. 

Selfie Station will also be available at Al Reef Mall on January 7 from 11am to 11pm and at Sultan Mall on the January 15 from 12 noon to 12 midnight.  

City Centre Bahrain will host ‘Big Names’, a live exhibition of unforgettable world icons will be located at the mall including Coco Channel, Walt Disney, Mozart and Albert Einstein. 

The live exhibition will be available in the mall where shoppers will be able to take pictures with the icons. 

The activity will be held between January 8 and 15.
