Bahrain’s Interior Minister Offers Condolences to Pakistan Over Flood Victims
Bahrain’s Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, held a phone call today with Pakistan’s Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control, Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
During the call, Shaikh Rashid expressed Bahrain’s heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Pakistan following the recent floods, landslides, and helicopter crash that claimed dozens of lives, including members of rescue teams.
He conveyed sympathy to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
The minister also highlighted the strong and historic ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, stressing the importance of enhancing security cooperation and coordination. He reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to working closely with Pakistan to address evolving security challenges and to further strengthen the role of the Joint Security Committee between the two countries.
