Annai Tamil Mandram Celebrates 78th Independence Day of India Among Workers in Bahrain

In a heartfelt celebration of the 78th Indian Independence Day, Annai Tamil Mandram, a prominent organization known for its community service initiatives in Bahrain, organized an event for over 100 workers at Al Rafeeq Tower and Excavation W.L.L's workers' hostel in Hamad Town, Bahrain. The event, which took place at 10 AM, saw participation from several notable guests including Mr. Selvaraj K.G., Owner of Al Rasheed Construction; Mr. Raja, Owner of K.G. Construction; and Mr. Das, Owner of Arogya Aluminum.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by a warm welcome speech from Dr. Thamaraikannan, General Secretary of Annai Tamil Mandram. The special guest of the event, Mr. Vijayraj Maran, a safety officer from the Ministry of Works in Bahrain, emphasized the importance of workplace safety in his address to the gathered workers.
To honor the special guests, Mr. Senthil G., President of Annai Tamil Mandram, and Mr. Arun Ramalingam, Social Welfare Secretary, presented them with mementos of appreciation. Following the formalities, Annai Tamil Mandram’s officials distributed food and fruits to the workers in attendance.
The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the playing of the Indian National Anthem, after which Mr. Suresh, Joint Secretary of the Social Welfare Department at Annai Tamil Mandram, expressed his gratitude with a vote of thanks. The event wrapped up on a positive and celebratory note, leaving attendees with a sense of unity and pride.
