UAE Schools Shift Back to Remote Learning
Schools across the United Arab Emirates have moved back to distance learning until May 8 following renewed regional tensions and security developments.
The decision, announced by the UAE Ministry of Education, comes after multiple emergency alerts were issued nationwide within a short period, prompting precautionary measures to ensure student safety.
Education authorities and school administrations quickly transitioned to online platforms, allowing classes to continue without disruption. Schools are maintaining regular schedules while closely monitoring updates from official sources.
Institutions remain in coordination with relevant authorities and are expected to keep parents and students informed of any changes. For now, learning continues remotely under existing timetables.
The latest move follows a recent return to in-person classes after several weeks of дистанционное обучение, which had been introduced earlier as a precaution amid regional security concerns.
Officials have reiterated the importance of flexibility within the education system, ensuring that schools can swiftly adapt between in-person and remote learning to maintain continuity under changing circumstances.
