Kremlin Welcomes Trump’s Call for Russia-Ukraine Energy Truce
The Kremlin has welcomed US President Donald Trump’s proposal for a truce between Russia and Ukraine on attacks against energy infrastructure.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow viewed the initiative positively and remained in contact with US officials. Trump had said the two sides agreed to such a truce, although neither Kyiv nor Moscow had confirmed that a deal had been reached.
