UAE Steps Up Relief Efforts as Gaza Faces Unprecedented Humanitarian Crisis

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, has voiced deep concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, describing the situation as “critical and unprecedented.”

In a message posted on the social media platform X, Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to helping the Palestinian people, stating that the country remains at the forefront of international relief efforts.

“We will continue to deliver aid by land, air, and sea to those who need it most,” he said, adding that airdrop operations have already resumed to ensure help reaches affected areas as quickly as possible.

The UAE has launched multiple humanitarian initiatives since the beginning of the crisis, including establishing air and sea bridges and deploying the “Birds of Goodness” operation—an effort involving dozens of aid airdrops over Gaza. Emergency medical supplies and food relief are also being sent regularly to support those in dire need.

Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the UAE’s dedication to easing the suffering of Palestinian civilians and supporting them through this difficult time.
