Bahrain to Experience Shifting Weather Patterns, Residents Advised to Stay Alert

Bahrain is currently experiencing hot and humid weather, with light and variable winds offering little relief. According to the Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, these conditions are expected to continue over the next couple of days, making it feel even hotter due to the humidity.

Starting Wednesday, July 30, northwesterly winds are forecast to pick up, becoming moderate to strong during the daytime. This shift may stir up dust in open areas and lead to rougher sea conditions. These winds are expected to persist for about a week.

While the winds might bring some relief by reducing humidity—especially during the nighttime—temperatures will remain in line with July's average levels.

The Meteorological Directorate has urged residents and seafarers to remain cautious, particularly those heading to open areas or out to sea. They advise the public to follow official weather updates and warnings through the ministry’s channels.
