As part of its longstanding annual tradition, Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School (BIS) conducted a charity drive during the holy month of Ramadan to support fellow brethren and uphold the true spirit of Ramadan alive.
The BIS fraternity and students came together to donate non-perishable food items to the school’s support staff as part of a charitable initiative.
School Management emphasised that such programmes are designed to nurture responsible global citizens who understand the value of compassion and social engagement. “I hope the pious month of Ramadan brings peace and happiness to everyone’s life, and we truly believe that this charity will be of great help to the needy,” said Mr. Himanshu Verma, BIS Director. Mrs. Ritu Verma, Director remarked, “This donation is a testament to our values and the spirit of compassion we strive to instill in our students”.
Principal Mr. Saji Jacob expressed his gratitude to everyone for extending a helping hand for the noble cause.
As communities around the world observe Ramadan, BIS stands as a shining example of how educational institutions can play a transformative role in addressing societal needs. Through its continued efforts, the school reinforces the message that meaningful change begins with collective action and a commitment to serve.
