The most important days of the year. Laylat al-Qadr, or the Night of Power, is that one special night Muslims wait for all year long. Even though no one knows its exact date, we know it’s hidden somewhere in these last ten nights of Ramadan. This is why you see mosques in Bahrain and all over the world crowded with people both Sunni and Shia.

One of the most beautiful things about these days is I’tikaf. It’s more than just staying in a mosque; it’s a complete "reset." People leave behind their phones, their work, and the distractions of the world to focus only on God. In mosques, you’ll see people praying, reading Quran, and even sleeping there, creating a small community of worship. It’s a time to stop the small talk of daily life and start a deep, private conversation with Allah.

Why is this night so huge? The Quran tells us clearly: it is better than a thousand months. That’s over 83 years of worship packed into just one night! It’s the anniversary of when the Holy Quran was first sent down to us, making it the most blessed night in history. Even with everything going on in Bahrain and the challenges we sometimes face, our people never stop. The mosques are still full, the spirit is still high, and the devotion to these nights is as strong as ever.

These nights are filled with special prayers and specific supplications that touch the soul. It’s the ultimate "Golden Opportunity" to be honest with ourselves and with Allah. It’s the time to admit our mistakes, let go of our past sins, and ask for a total wipe of the slate. For every Muslim, Laylat al-Qadr is a chance to turn the page and start a new chapter of life pure, forgiven, and closer to Allah.
