Sanjay Dutt Says UAE Made Residents Feel Safe During Conflict

Sanjay Dutt has praised the UAE’s handling of recent regional tensions, saying the country made residents feel safe even during uncertain times.

Speaking during a visit to Dubai, the Bollywood actor said he never felt concerned about his family’s safety while conflict affected parts of the region, highlighting the UAE’s response and security measures.

“My family was here during the conflict and the way the UAE managed it was outstanding,” Dutt said. “They made people feel safe.”

The actor was in Dubai to announce a collaboration with a local property developer and also reflected on his long journey in the film industry, personal struggles, and continued success in Bollywood.

Now based in Dubai more frequently since 2020, Dutt remains one of Indian cinema’s most recognised stars, with a career spanning nearly five decades. He is currently enjoying renewed attention following the success and growing buzz around Dhurandhar.

Despite the film’s strong reception, Dutt said fame and box office success no longer affect him the way they once did.

“I’ve been in the industry for almost 50 years, so my life remains the same,” he said, adding that success feels rewarding but should never lead to arrogance.

The actor, son of legendary Bollywood stars Sunil Dutt and Nargis, said surviving in the film industry depends on hard work and personal effort rather than family background alone.

“It’s not because I am Sunil Dutt and Nargis ji’s son that I am here,” he said. “They can give you the initial push, but ultimately it depends on the person.”

Reflecting on success and wealth, Dutt said staying grounded and being a good person remain the most important values in life.

“Be a good human being and you make it in life,” he said, adding that money naturally follows success when people remain genuine.
