A 99.5% pass rate was achieved in the CBSE Class XII exams

The New Indian School in Bahrain reported strong results in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII examinations held in February 2026, recording a pass rate of 99.5 percent.

Out of 202 students who appeared for the examination, 172 secured first class results, including 102 students who achieved distinctions, the school said.

In the Science stream, Nanthini Sridevi Kumaravel emerged as the top scorer with 97.6 percent. She was followed by Divjot Singh Bal, who secured 97 percent, and Ishika Ranjith Nair, who achieved 95.8 percent. In the Commerce stream, Alfia Rejan Varghese topped with 98.8 percent.

James Saju Mathew came in second with 97.2 percent, while Farhina Fathima Shaik, Vyga Shijoy, and Peehu Desai shared third position with 96.8 percent.

The school described the results as a reflection of consistent academic performance and student commitment across both streams.
