Indian Ladies Association Bahrain Launches “The Platinum Power-Up” Campaign

The Indian Ladies Association Bahrain has officially launched its 70th year celebrations with a vibrant social media campaign titled The Platinum Power-Up, aimed at reconnecting members and celebrating the spirit that has shaped the association for seven decades.

The campaign, unveiled through a series of engaging digital reels, encourages members to rediscover, recapture, and reignite their sense of belonging while highlighting the talents and contributions of the ILA community over the years.

President Smitha Jensen said the initiative is designed to bring members together ahead of the association’s milestone platinum year celebrations.

“The association is just a building without members’ talent, their voice, presence, and energy,” she said. “Through this fun project, we want to bring members together and rediscover their various talents ahead of our power-packed plans for our Platinum year.”

The association said the 70th year celebrations will feature glamour, entertainment, community engagement, and a range of cultural and social activities reflecting the vibrant spirit of ILA and its members.

Several members are leading different aspects of the campaign. The reels are being scripted by Meera Ravi and Rekha Utham, while filmmaker Shikha Varma is overseeing filming.

Production schedules, locations, and props management are being coordinated by Raka Mukhopadhyay and Minal Virani. Costumes and continuity are being handled by Ranjana Jaiswal and Monika Ameta.

General Secretary Sarmishta Dey said the campaign will shine a spotlight on members and their talents over the coming weeks.

“Over 12 weeks we shall be turning the spotlight on our members, their talents and our club’s community connect. We shall post reels, encourage people to like, share and join fun contests about us with amazing giveaways as gifts,” she said.

The association has invited the community to follow its upcoming content on Instagram and Facebook as it marks a major milestone year with celebrations and member-driven activities.
