Al Baraka Islamic Bank distributes Razji seedlings to employees as part of Tree Week

In line with its steadfast commitment to national development and community engagement, Al Baraka Islamic Bank has actively participated in National Tree Week through a special initiative organised by its Social Committee. The initiative involved distributing Razji seedlings (Arabian Jasmine) to all employees to plant in their home gardens, thereby fostering environmental awareness and p romoting sustainable practices.

This effort supports the National Action Plan aimed at achieving carbon neutrality, announced by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. It also aligns with the initiative led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to observe Tree Week annually during the third week of October.

Al Baraka Islamic Bank’s participation underscores its dedication to supporting national and community-driven initiatives that advance environmental sustainability across Bahrain. The bank affirms its belief in environmental protection and its proactive role in contributing to sustainable development.
