Consolidated Final Account of the State 2014 finalised

 Hassan Khalifa Al-Jalahma, Auditor-General of National Audit Office, has announced the completion of the audit on the accounts of the Ministries and other Government Entities for the year ended 31st December 2014.

 The "Consolidated Final Account of the State" has also been audited and submitted with the audit opinion to Minister of Finance Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.

The account will be submitted to the Cabinet for review before directing it to the Council of Representatives according to Article (49) of the Budget Law.

 The National Audit Office has also followed up the audit observations and recommendations of the last year’s reports to ensure the ministries and other government entities have implemented the recommendations of the report.

 Furthermore, it has completed the audit of Future Generation Reserve Account for same year according to the requirements of its law no. (28) for the year 2006.  It has sent the audit opinion to Minister of Finance (Chairman of the Future Generation Reserve Council).

 In addition, Auditor-General Al-Jalahma, assured that the above mentioned audits were carried out in accordance with the auditing standards issued by the "International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions" and with the annual audit plan of the National Audit Office.

 Al-Jalahma also added the office is currently preparing the annual report on the Consolidated Account of the State and the final account of the ministries and other government entities subjected to audit.

The results of the Performance and Administrative Audits will be submitted to His Majesty the King, the Cabinet and the Council of Representatives in October.
