MPs Mohsen Al Asbool and Dr Hisham Al Ashiri praised Bahrain’s 96 per cent secondary school pass rate, describing it as a sign of continued progress in the Kingdom’s education sector.
The lawmakers said the strong results reflected the combined efforts of students, families and educators, alongside the leadership of Education Minister Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma.
They also praised the minister’s decision to personally congratulate top-performing students, saying the gesture encouraged academic excellence and motivated students to achieve more.
The MPs expressed appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their continued support of the education sector.
They added that preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year are already under way, with authorities working on logistical and organisational plans to ensure schools are fully prepared.
The MPs also welcomed the introduction of a new academic calendar, saying it would help families and educators plan more effectively.
They said the 96 per cent pass rate reflects coordinated efforts across Bahrain’s education system and wished students continued success in the future.
