Industry Minister Opens Bahrain–Hungary Industrial Partnership Forum

Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, inaugurated the Bahrain–Hungary Industrial Partnership Forum at the Gulf Hotel, bringing together Bahraini and Hungarian business leaders to explore new opportunities for economic and industrial cooperation.
The forum was organised by the Bahrain Businessmen’s Association in collaboration with the Bahraini-Hungarian Trade Events Foundation and featured the participation of a Hungarian trade and industrial delegation.
During his opening remarks, Minister Fakhro highlighted the strong and growing ties between Bahrain and Hungary, stressing the importance of expanding collaboration in key economic and industrial sectors. He noted that the forum serves as an important platform for fostering private-sector partnerships, supporting sustainable development, and attracting investment.
Ahmed Abdullah bin Hindi, Chairman of the Bahrain Businessmen’s Association, outlined Bahrain’s competitive business environment and its role in facilitating investment and international partnerships. He emphasised the forum’s contribution to strengthening business relations and creating new opportunities for cooperation between companies from both countries.
The event attracted government officials, business executives, and representatives from more than 10 Hungarian companies specialising in engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), renewable energy, and logistics.
Participants discussed investment prospects across several sectors, including food technology, water treatment, oil and gas solutions, industrial automation, innovation, and energy efficiency. The programme also featured bilateral meetings between Bahraini and Hungarian investors aimed at identifying potential partnerships and business ventures.
