The Judicial and Legal Studies Institute (JLSI) celebrated the graduation of the fifth cohort of its Professional Legal Practice Certificate (PLPC) programme during a ceremony attended by senior officials from the judicial, legal and government sectors.

A total of 27 participants successfully completed the programme, which is designed to equip Bahraini legal professionals with the practical expertise and language skills needed to operate effectively in an international legal environment.

Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, said the programme reflects the successful collaboration between the institute and specialised legal organisations in developing national legal talent. He noted that the initiative enhances the capabilities of Bahraini legal practitioners, particularly in practising law in English and engaging with international legal systems.

The six-month programme covered a broad range of specialised subjects, including legal ethics, legal research and drafting, contracts and corporate law, financial transactions, digital transformation in justice, alternative dispute resolution, real estate law, and professional skills development.

The graduation ceremony also recognised the contributions of partner organisations that supported the programme and honoured the graduates for their successful completion of the course.
