New sports hall at Budaiya Club, football courts for Hamad Town

The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs is planning to construct a new sports hall at Budaiya Club. According to a tender board document, the sports hall will be inside the plot of Budaiya Club.

Budaiya Club is a football club based in Budaiya that competes in the Bahraini Premier League. They play their home games at the Hamad Town Stadium. The tender is for conducting civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, interior and exterior works of the hall.

A successful contractor should complete all related works, including excavation, carpentry, metal works as per drawing and specification provided by the ministry. To participate, make bids before the 8th of September 2021, with a BD4,000 bond and BD100 fee.

Grass court at Hamad Town

The Youth and Sports Ministry also plans two new football courts in line with FIFA standards at Hamad Town. A tender document says the football courts should have a playing area of 68 meters width and 105-meter length.

The natural grass court will have a grandstand and service building, says the tender description. If interested, make bids before the 8th of September, with a BD4,000 bond and BD100 fee.

Sport facilities

The ministry further said that it is looking forward to developing sports facilities at various locations to accommodate further players and visitors.

A tender issued says the ministry wants to replace waterproofing systems at various locations in compliance with site conditions. The tender board will receive bids until the 8th of September 2021. Make bids with a BD1000 bond and BD50 fee.

Ministry developing Isa Sports City

The Ministry of Youth is also developing the facilities of Isa Sports City. According to a tender document, the ministry is also developing football grounds and the irrigation system of all existing playgrounds.

A tender issued calls for constructing a new pump room, rerouting existing pole lights, and fixing interlock pavings, amongst other works. Make bids before the 1st of September 2021, with a BD1000 bond and BD50 fee.
