HRH Prince Salman issues Labour Day holiday circular

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued a circular concerning the 2021 International Workers’ Day.
Under the circular, Ministries and public institutions will close on Sunday 2 May 2021, in observance of the public holiday, which falls on Saturday 1 May.
HRH Prince Salman also issued Edict (22) of 2021, appointing representatives of the Government of Bahrain to the Board of Directors of King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA).
Under the edict, Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa serves as Vice Chairman of the KFCA Board for a three-year term.
Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry Undersecretary for Transportation and Post, Sami Abdulla Bouhazaa, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), First Deputy Chairman, Khalid Mohammed Najeebi, LL Bank Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Rasheed Almaraj, are appointed as KFCA board members for a three-year term.
