Royal leadership support for legislative branch highlighted

The Representatives Council’s Bureau held its 16th meeting in the third session of the Fifth Legislative Term, virtually, under the chairmanship of Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal.
Members of the Council’s Bureau expressed deep pride in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s keenness and directives to develop all state departments and entities, as well as interest in the affairs of all the segments of the Bahraini people.
The Bureau paid tribute to HM King Hamad for receiving the chairpersons and members of the Shura and Representatives Councils and praising their dedicated patriotic efforts as well as the legislative branch’s pivotal role in national development.
The panel also lauded the keenness of all the citizens and residents to adhere to the national responsibility and community partnership through their commitment to precautionary measures and taking the vaccines against the coronavirus pandemic.
It urged them to continue their compliance with the pre-emptive measures to ensure everyone’s health and safety, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
