Disinfection operations begin in combatting spread of COVID-19

Disinfection operations across the Kingdom have begun as part of nation-wide efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This was announced yesterday by the Director-General of Civil Defence.
The procedures have commenced following the completion of training of cleaning companies, conducted by a Civil Defence team according to local and international standards. These operations are being carried out according to a preplanned schedule.
The Director-General noted that the department had conducted 44 training courses for around 322 individuals from private cleaning companies. The Civil Defence also issued 33 certificates for those licensed companies and their names are listed in the official websites for combating coronavirus.
