Kingdom’s openness, religious freedom hailed
Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Alok Kumar Sinha, has affirmed that the members of the Indian expatriate community in Bahrain live in an atmosphere of openness as they perform their religious rituals freely, in light of the co-existence and religious freedom that distinguish the Kingdom from other countries.
The envoy made the statements while attending a ceremony organised by the Sikh community, marking the 550th birth anniversary of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak.
The event was attended by many other communities, which confirmed that the spir- it of tolerance and co-exist- ence contributed to the con- tinuous presence of various communities in Bahrain.
