Leadership receives condolences

Following the death of five Bahraini soldiers in Yemen on Friday, the Bahraini leadership has been condoled by the world nations, GCC leaders, and leaderships of neighbouring countries as well as ministers and officials of the Kingdom yesterday.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has yesterday received a cable of condolences from Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on the incident. HRH the Prime Minister said the national blood has drawn a heroic epic of glory for peace, right and legitimacy, stressing that the Bahraini soldiers sacrificed their lives, the most precious, for their nation to decorate their homeland with the best medal of pride and dignity.
Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also sent a cable of condolences to HM the King. HRH the Crown Prince extended heartfelt condolences to HM the King, stressing that the Bahraini people will never hesitate to sacrifice the most precious in serving Arab issues.
Shura Council condoles
The Shura Council also extended deep condolences to the leadership, the Bahraini people and the martyrs' families. The council stressed, in a statement, that the martyrdom of the five Bahraini soldiers in defending the right and the progress of joint solidarity is an assertion of fraternal unity and common destiny binding Bahrain and its brethren Arab countries.
The council emphasised Bahrain's resolve to make utmost sacrifices for the sake of regional security and stability as well as the Arab nation's present and future. It affirmed the need to boost security and peace to confront major challenges in this critical phase of the Arab nation's history.
The council reiterated support to all steps aimed at maintaining security, stability and territorial integrity in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, praying to Allah Almighty to protect all Arab countries from seditions and bestow on them security and stability. It also extended deep-felt condolences to the UAE on the martyrdom of its soldiers in the ongoing military operations in Yemen, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
GCC leaders offer support
HM the King exchanged condolences over the phone yesterday with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the martyrdom of a number of Bahraini and Emirati soldiers while performing their sacred national duty, alongside the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces, in defending legitimacy in Yemen.
Both leaders stressed that the Bahraini and Emirati soldiers sacrificed their lives to defend the right and legitimacy, ensure regional security and stability and safeguard people's interests and hard-won gains.
HM the King received a telephone call from Kuwaiti Emir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah as well as Kuwait Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah and Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah.
Condolence messages were sent by Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II,
GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, and Bahrain Parliament Chairman Ahmed Al Mulla.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received a phone call from the Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Elaraby who expressed his sincere condolences.
