Man arrested for murder
Hoora police on Monday arrested a person on the charge of murder. The suspect was identified as an Asian national, 34, of Tubli area, said Head of Hoora Police Station of the General Directorate of Capital Governorate Police.
He is accused of beating to death another man, 35, of the same nationality following an altercation inside a house in Tubli.
Police who reached the scene immediately following a tip-off nabbed the suspect while attempting to flee.
The body of the Asian was found inside the home with head injuries with a hard object. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
