Youth forum concludes
Manama : The inaugural youth forum organised by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation to promote leadership, entrepreneurship and volunteerism among youth, concluded at the Gulf International Convention Centre yesterday.
The forum was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The event was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Youth and Sports, Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder, writer and businessman from Saudi Arabia Khaled Al Khudair, and media and social activist from the UAE Khalid Al Ameri.
The Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa along with Chairperson of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, Shaikha Zain bint Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, also felicitated the event sponsors, main sponsors and other social media influencers at the event.
“There is so much talent in the country and, in forums like these future leaders emerge. I commend AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation for their work and I urge them to come up with more forums like these to benefit the younger generation,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, who spoke about the importance of leadership.
Chairperson of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, Shaikha Zain bint Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa thanked the contributors and volunteers who spent time and effort to organise the forum and contributed towards providing a useful educational experience for students and the youth.
“Our foundation’s vision is focused on achieving the desired excellence to become an active member of the society and make opportunities available that are aimed at investing in the potential of Bahraini youth and achieve all their ambitions at academic and professional levels. With forums like these we are creating platform for the younger generation to be future leaders,” Shaikha Zain said.
The forum featured success stories, held discussion sessions and workshops to provide an engaging experience for young people and provided them with an opportunity to communicate with inspirational models.
