Shura supports security steps

Manama : The Shura Council has supported the measures taken to boost security and confront terrorist acts, in line with the leadership’s vision which renounces all forms of terrorism.

The council lauded the operation carried out by the joint security team from the Interior Ministry and the National Security Agency to foil  the escape bid of fugitives who escaped from the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre in Jau and the arrest of several terror suspects. 

It also commended the leadership’s constant directives and support given to the security bodies, which helped them reach high level of readiness to perform their duties with utmost responsibility.

The Shura Council lauded the efforts of the Interior Ministry, spearheaded by Interior Minister Lt. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to fight terrorism and maintain order. 

It also praised the vigilance of the security forces and their readiness to confront the terrorists, thwart terror plots and arrest the perpetrators. 

The Council pledged to work on more legislation to assist the security forces to fight terrorism and preserve the gains brought about in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Ministry lauded

Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al Sabah has lauded the Interior Ministry personnel who succeeded in foiling the escape bid of wanted terror suspects as well as fugitives.

The Kuwaiti Ambassador praised the unrelenting efforts of the Interior Ministry personnel to maintain security and stability in Bahrain and protect the Bahraini people from threats. He also asserted Kuwait’s support to Bahrain to maintain its security and stability.
