The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) recently expanded its real estate partnerships by signing two new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Union Real Estate and Effects Real Estate during its participation as a Platinum Sponsor of the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector 2026. The Bank will collaborate with these developers to help prospective buyers find properties suited to their requirements and explore the funding options available to purchase them.
Held under the esteemed patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the summit was organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in collaboration with Eskan Bank. The event brought together government entities, financial institutions, and real estate developers to showcase their social housing solutions, residential projects, and financing programmes.
Commenting on the occasion, Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, Chief Executive – Retail Banking at NBB, said, “We are pleased to contribute to the efforts of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank to provide citizens with opportunities to own homes. Through our partnerships with real estate developers, we are working to broaden the range of residential options and provide financing solutions tailored to customers’ needs, making the homeownership journey smoother and more accessible for Bahraini families.”
These MoUs form part of NBB’s support for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s housing priorities and the directives aimed at enhancing citizens’ quality of life and broadening access to housing services. These two MoUs add to the agreements previously signed by the Bank with real estate developers, including ERA Real Estate, Al Janabiya Gate Real Estate, Delmon Gate, Kayan Real Estate, Naseej Real Estate, and Best Location Properties, providing NBB customers with a broader range of residential options. The Bank also continues to strengthen its partnerships with government entities and the private sector, leveraging its financing expertise to support the development of innovative housing and financing solutions that meet citizens’ needs and promote sustainable homeownership.
