‘Aman 17’ naval exercise today
Riyadh : Saudi forces will take part in the multi-national naval exercise named “Aman 17”, due to be conducted today in Pakistan.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the exercise, in which Saudi Arabia usually participates as an observer, the naval exercise is aimed at promoting security-wise cooperation to enhance a sustainable maritime environment and to consolidate Saudi-Pakistani bilateral defense-like relationships.
Some Arab and Islamic countries, in addition to the US, Britain, France and China, are to take part, too, in this 5th edition of the exercise, SPA added.
