Deepal Bahrain Powers Wheels 2 Heels Marathon Relay at Seef Mall Through Vehicle-to-Load Technology

Deepal Bahrain supported the Wheels 2 Heels event held by Not A Cult at Seef Mall, using its Vehicle-to-Load technology to power seven treadmills throughout a series of marathon relay races.
The event saw three Deepal models, the S05, S07 and G318, supply power directly to the treadmills as participants completed a half-marathon relay and one full-marathon relay. The activation demonstrated how Deepal vehicles can serve as mobile energy sources, extending their functionality beyond transportation and bringing the brand’s advanced technology to life in a practical setting.
The G318 can provide up to 6.6 kW of power for external use, while the S07 and S05 can each provide up to 3.3 kW. With each treadmill requiring approximately 2 kW to operate, the three vehicles collectively powered all seven treadmills during the event, with the G318 supporting three treadmills and the S07 and S05 each supporting two. The activation highlighted the capacity and reliability of Deepal’s Vehicle-to-Load feature, with the vehicles sustaining the treadmills throughout the marathon relays on a single charge.
The program included a 21.1-kilometre half-marathon relay, each completed by teams of two to five participants, followed by a 42.2-kilometre full-marathon relay for teams of two to ten participants.
By connecting automotive technology with an endurance sporting event, Deepal gave visitors the opportunity to see how electric vehicles can support external power needs in real-world settings. The activation also reflected the brand’s focus on intelligent mobility and technology designed to deliver greater versatility beyond the driving experience.
