RHF Signs Healthcare Aid Deal for Palestine

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has signed an agreement to provide a financial grant to the Palestinian Ministry of Health to contribute to the provision of priority medicines and medical supplies, support the healthcare sector’s capacity to meet urgent needs, and ensure the continued delivery of healthcare services to the Palestinian people, with priority given to medical needs in the Gaza Strip.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation by Eng. Ebrahim Dalhan Aldoseri, Acting Secretary-General, and on the Palestinian side by Dr. Majed Awni Abu Ramadan, Minister of Health.

Eng. Ebrahim Dalhan Aldoseri affirmed that the agreement reflects the Foundation’s humanitarian mission and its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and humanitarian and healthcare efforts aimed at alleviating their suffering. He noted that the focus on providing medicines and medical supplies, particularly in the Gaza Strip, comes in response to pressing health priorities and the most urgent needs.

He further explained that, through its partnerships with relevant authorities and international organisations, the Foundation continues to support humanitarian projects and initiatives that address the basic needs of the Palestinian people, in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s longstanding approach to supporting the Palestinian people.

The agreement and the visit form part of the broader humanitarian and development efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of the Palestinian people, while further strengthening cooperation with relevant authorities and international organisations in implementing projects and initiatives that address essential needs and alleviate humanitarian suffering.
