His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with Abdulmohsen Al Rashed, Chairman of GFH Financial Group, at Riffa Palace on Monday.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman stressed the importance of developing initiatives and solutions that strengthen Bahrain’s financial and banking sector, create new opportunities and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a leading financial hub.
He highlighted the sector’s role in supporting economic growth across various fields and advancing Bahrain’s national economy, noting the continued development of the financial and banking industry and its growing contribution and competitiveness.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister also underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships with the private sector to support Bahrain’s economic aspirations and promote sustainable growth.
HRH Prince Salman further emphasised the role of national expertise in the continued development of the financial and banking sector. He highlighted the need to invest in developing the capabilities of the national workforce and equipping Bahrainis with specialised skills and expertise to create greater opportunities for innovation and excellence.
Al Rashed expressed his appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s support for the financial and banking sector and efforts to advance the Kingdom’s economic aspirations.
Minister of Finance and National Economy HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
