14,565 trees pruned by municipality
Manama : The Southern Area Municipality recently pruned 14,565 trees in the public parks, according to the Municipality’s general director, Essam Abdullatif Abdullah.
The pruning of fruit bearing trees, shade trees, wild trees, date palms, green spaces and hedge trees was carried out by the Municipality under the directives of the Minister and the Undersecretary. The move was also in line with the preset plan prepared by the Parks and Gardens Unit to maintain and prune trees and flowering plants in various locations.
