Urdu poetry festival today
Manama : More than 10 prominent poets from Pakistan will participate in a special Urdu poetry festival, “Jashan-e- Saeed Qais,” which is being organised to honour noted Urdu Poet Saeed Qais, who is based in Bahrain, today. It will be held in Golden Tulip Hotel here at 8.30pm.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Javed Malik described him as an icon of Urdu poetry.
More than 10 prominent poets from Pakistan will participate in the festival, including Ata ul Haq Qasimi, Mansoor Usmani, Naeer Turabi, Naeem Akhtar, Umbreen Haseeb, Mohsin Changezi, Alam Khursheed, Qaiser Masood and Tahir Azeem et al.
