Price, Hansen win series

Manama : Ashley Price and playing partner Hanne Hansen (24 on count back) won the penultimate competition of the current Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club.

Following in second place also on count back were the duo of Dena Wales and Dagfrid Berge (24) with Steve Foster and Daniel Ortiz (24) in third.

Rob Lane and Nils Berge (12 points) currently top the series order of merit with just one more competition left to play. The pairings of Jamie Bowen and Mike Brightmore (8) and Alistair Rushton and Kyran Ingham (8) sit close behind.

Over 30 golfers competed in the two player better ball stableford tournament which was played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the challenging Montgomerie championship course.

Porsche branded flags and the latest models of the Porsche Boxter GTS and Porsche Cayenne GTS were displayed on the golf course for the duration of the competition.

The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge where Ben Stimson, the Royal Golf Club’s Golf Sales Manager presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
