Carpet flooring made for ‘heavy traffic environments’

ManamaBahrain Airport Company (BAC) has informed that it ‘keeps its promise to provide a secure and efficient travel experience within friendly surrounding and that it is committed to operating BIA with maximum efficiency in line with global aviation standards and providing superior level of service to facilitate the passenger journey. 

BAC’s statement comes after DT News published a reader’s response in letter page titled ‘Fussy Carpet Flooring at Airport’ on Thursday 16th March 2016.  The statement reads: ‘In line with its’ role of managing Bahrain International Airport as a world-class airport, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) signed an agreement in 2014 for replacing the flooring at Bahrain International Airport Terminal Building arrival concourse. Accordingly, the previous flooring was replaced with a modern option that contributed to creating a sophisticated and welcoming ambience for passengers and users at Bahrain International Airport. The signing of this agreement was one of BAC’s immediate enhancement works at the passenger terminal building, which aims to elevate the passenger’s experience in keeping pace with the traffic growth at BIA. 

BAC keeps its promise to provide a secure and efficient travel experience within friendly surrounding. On-going refurbishments are still taking place in the current facility to provide a pleasant travel journey and an enhanced passenger experience for BIA passengers as to provide them with additional comfort and welcome them to the Kingdom of Bahrain.   

BAC assures the reader that the solution selected was in line with the previous one provided at the terminal building. The new carpet flooring is specifically made for use in heavy traffic environments and aims to provide ease of cleaning and flexibility in the design. The product manufacturer was specifically selected due to its line for airport specific products, of which one was chosen for Bahrain International Airport, BAC statement said.
