Bahrain-India Relations Highlighted

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received outgoing Indian Ambassador Vinod Kurian Jacob at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 6, marking the end of the ambassador’s tenure in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, Dr. Al Zayani praised the close friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and India, noting the significant development of bilateral relations across various fields.

The Foreign Minister commended Ambassador Jacob’s efforts to strengthen ties between the two countries and advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest. He also wished the ambassador continued success in his future endeavours.

Ambassador Jacob expressed his appreciation for the strong level of Bahrain-India relations and thanked the Foreign Minister and Bahraini officials for the support and assistance he received during his diplomatic mission.

He also wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Salah Mohammed Shehab, Head of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Mohammed Rashid Al-Suwaidi, Acting Head of the Asia and Pacific Affairs Department.
