HRH Prince Salman highlights Bahrain’s commitment to Gulf integration and urges stronger coordination to improve healthcare quality and medical preparedness
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with the heads of delegations participating in the 12th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Health Ministers at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness affirmed Bahrain’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to supporting initiatives that advance the shared aspirations of GCC countries and strengthen cooperation and integration across the region.
HRH Prince Salman noted that the historic ties and common ambitions of the GCC countries provide a strong foundation for further advancing Gulf cooperation, aligning with the aspirations of the GCC leaders.
He also stressed the importance of implementing healthcare-related measures put forward by GCC leaders, noting their role in further improving healthcare services and strengthening joint medical preparedness among GCC countries.
The heads of delegations expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’s support for joint Gulf action, particularly in the healthcare sector, as well as efforts to further develop healthcare systems and enhance preparedness across the GCC.
They also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
